 In January 2015, I was in Hamburg, Germany. I visited Julius Meinl Café in Europa passage. I saw a lady at a table. She wore a grey uniform-like jacket. I made up a story about her, which is definitely pure fiction, but it became the story on which the epic Sad Café is based. The other songs are dealing with café life to some extent.

In April my mixer broke down and I had to buy a new one. This time I chose a Yamaha MG16XU. It is a bit different than the Xenyx I had. Even though the Yamaha is a 16 channel mixer as the Behringer it has less input channels for send from external devices. Therefore I had to skip the Roland Fantom XR module, which I formerly only used as bass.

I also changed my motherkeyboard to a Roland A-88. The keys on the CME UF8, was getting more and more stuck.

Programmed, recorded and mixed on Steinberg Cubase  8.00 - 8.01
